Memorial and Tribute Gifts
What better way to pay lasting tribute to a loved one or honor a milestone in your family's life than to make a memorial or tribute gift to the Friends of the Parks? Depending upon the size of your gift, you may donate a tree or a bench in honor of your loved one. We will acknowledge your contribution to a family member, although the amount will remain confidential. Please contact the Friends’ office to discuss the options available to you.
Friends' honorary and memorial gift cards are also available on-line.
A Gift That Lasts….
Deep Cut Gardens Commemorative Tree
The Friends of the Parks offers another way to honor or memorialize a loved one by purchasing a “Leaf” for the Deep Cut Gardens Commemorative Tree. Leaves are available for $100.00. Donations can be given in honor of or in memory of an individual, or as a generous donation to the parks. The Commemorative Tree is a specially designed oak sculpture offering recognition to donors whose thoughtful generosity helps advance the development and beautification of Deep Cut Gardens. Please contact the Friends’ office to request a brochure/form for the Commemorative Tree.

Tree Grove at Thompson Park
Honor or memorialize a loved one by donating a tree to be planted in the Tree Grove at Thompson Park. When complete, the grove will be a beautiful and quiet place for reflection and relaxation. Donors will receive a Certification of Dedication and a plaque will be mounted on a memorial stone in the Grove to commemorate the planting of their tree.

Bench Donation Program
Launched in 2004, the formalized Bench Donation Program enables individuals and families to create a lasting tribute within the Park System to designated loved ones. Benches can be purchased for the Manasquan Reservoir, Howell, Deep Cut Gardens, Middletown, or Thompson Park, Lincroft. These benches are an attractive asset to our parks and provide meaningful structures for years to come.
